Step 2: Attend a 10 hour minimum CHL Class.
-  8 hours class room 2 hrs. range. ( Click here for Range

-  $125.00 for the CHL Class.
-  $ 75.00 for License renewal. (4 hour class)
-  $ 25.00 for gun & ammo rental (optional) If ammo is
available.
-  Class fee is paid at time of class.

Step 3: Mail your application to Texas DPS.
-  You will receive all  required paperwork during class.
-  Fingerprints, Notary Public & Photo's will be done on
class day.
-  State Application fee to be sent with your application
packet.

ammo.

Qualify with semi auto you
can carry both a revolver or
semi auto.

Qualify with Revolver. Then
that is all you can carry.
GUN RENTAL
Class Fee:

  • Concealed Handgun License  
    $125.00. .
  • Renewal $75.00.
  • Fingerprints, photos, and
    notary included at no
    additional charge.

State Application Fee:

  •  $140.00 no special conditions.
  •  $70.00 Age 60 and older.
  •  $70.00 Veteran.
  •  No State fee for Military.
